About Us

What began as a Social Media sensation has turned into a group of motivated individuals who cannot and will not stand to sit back and watch couples go through the process of divorce without proper guidance and support according to Halacha.
Each member of The LEV Organization works as a 100% Volunteer. We as a Jewish Nation must always be united, look out for each other and if one Jewish person is hurting, we are all hurting.
A Gett (Jewish Divorce) that is being denied by a spouse is not a Women’s rights issue or Men’s rights issue, it is a Human rights issue.
The LEV Organization is committed to inspiring positive change by collaborating with community members, religious leaders, legal professionals, and political advocates to promote Shalom Bayit, the peace within the home. The LEV Organization seeks to ensure that marriages are built on mutual respect and understanding. When divorce becomes unavoidable, LEV works toward fostering a process that prioritizes peace, dignity, and respect for all involved. The ultimate goal is to create a future where families can navigate separation with understanding and support, without unnecessary conflict or harm, ensuring that both men and women are treated with fairness and compassion throughout.

Testimonials
The public movement definitely made me feel heard and made me realize that I am not the only woman going through this horrible experience. The support The LEV Organization gives, strengthens women and puts them in a healthy mindset to help themselves and their children.

My Ex Husband knew that I was no longer alone and I had a Community behind me who refused to tolerate his abuse. The mounting pressure from The LEV Organization Team helped me tremendously because my Ex Husband was worried he would be exposed. The forming of a Community Movement broke the stigma and embarrassment of Women enduring this plight by creating awareness and empathy on a subject most could not previously conceptualize. The movement helped unite individuals who were suffering alone in silence and helped create a network where they could also get support from each other.

Thanks almost solely to public support and efforts of people like the members of The LEV Organization, I received my Gett this past year, after many years of waiting. The coercive measures I was subjected to during the Gett proceedings and the years prior were horrifying. The fact that my freedom was being used as leverage against me is despicable. The fact that I had to wait many years to receive my freedom from a dead marriage is shameful. The LEV Organization is not only an indication of Achdut (unity) and Ahavat Chinam (free love), but is absolutely necessary and essential to the Jewish community at large. This Organization is giving a voice to marginalized women who have been shoved to the shadows of their Community for far too long. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that without The LEV Organization and the community support I would not be a free woman today.
